LAHORE: The power shortfall of 5,000 MW continued along with the load shedding of 9- 11 hours with several hours of unannounced load shedding.
PEPCO officials said the production of electricity stands at 10,200 MW whereas demand soars to 15,200 MW.
Nine hours of load shedding in urban and 11 hours in rural areas is going on to cover the shortfall whereas as four to eight hours load shedding is schedule in industrial areas. The consumers have protested against prolonged load shedding and demanded government to improve situation.
