LAHORE: The power shortfall across the country has been reduced to 4,900 MW as compare to yesterday. However, scheduled and unscheduled load shedding is continued.
Despite several announcements by PEPCO, no reduction in load shedding duration has been reported from any part of the country. Announced load shedding for 10-12 hours remain continued in all cities including Lahore with eight-hour additional and unannounced load shedding. PEPCO officials said 700 MW electricity is providing to KESC on daily basis. On the directives of water and power ministry, PEPCO has established an emergency war room for day-to-day basis briefing.
