PESHAWAR: The recent wet spell in Peshawar has adversely disrupted the sewerage system on Monday, Geo news reported.
Most of the major and small drains and gutter-lines have been chocked while the filthy water, overflowing from them, is stagnant on roads and streets in many districts, clogging traffic and creating hazardous situation, witnesses told media.
The citizens have demanded NWFP government of taking concrete steps to address the situation of disruption in sewerage system, which has reached to alarming level in provincial capital Peshawar, sources said.
