LAKI MARWAT: Vote count has begun after polling in PF-75 Laki Marwat 2 concluded on Wednesday.

Polling started at 8:00 AM in the morning today in PF-75 constituency where voter turn out remained thin due to law and order situation. The candidates also made arrangement for the transportation of the voters. Therefore, voters from far-flung areas failed to make it to the polling stations.

A total of 23 candidates including those representing JamIat Ulema-e-Islami (F), Pakistan People?s Party, Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamat-e-Islami as well as independent candidates contested the by-elections.

According to political analysts, a neck-and-neck contest is expected between Nasir Muhammad Khan of JUI and Khan Bahadur Marwat of Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Total number of registered voters is 88,636 in this constituency where 15 out of 69 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive and 17 as sensitive.
