GWADAR: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Sunday that no political statement would be issued on the prevailing Karachi situation.
Malik said that the Rabita Committee and London Secretariat would present the MQM?s stance while he and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah would speak on Karachi situation on behalf of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
This he said while speaking to newsmen during his visit to Gwadar.
The Interior Minister opened the new offices of Computerized Passport, National Database Regularization Authority (NADRA) and Immigration in Gwadar.
He said that the miscreant elements present in the political parties would not be tolerated at all and the government would launch crackdown against them.
Malik also announced to finish all checkposts of FC and Coast Guards in Gwadar. He said that he was in regular contact with all angry Baloch brothers and that confrontation was over after the announcement of Balochistan package.
The federal minister further said that people with minimum education of matriculation would be employed in Police department in Balochistan. After opening the Nadra office, he announced to regularize all its contractual employees.
He added that the government was considering to start a ferry service between Muscat and Gwadar.
