ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Sadiq al-Farooq, terming Punjab Governor Salman Taseer a mentally challenged person, demanded the government to set up a medical board for his medical examination.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said that Pakistan was moving ahead toward the completion of democracy and for this it was necessary for all political parties to reach a consensus on key national issues.
Farooq was of the view that Taseer?s statements were disturbing the political atmosphere for which the government should take notice.
To a question, he said that PML-N had never made any demand for the mid-term polls. He said the government should reopen Swiss cases against President Zardari.
