PARACHINAR: Eleven militants have been killed while 7 were injured in a security force?s action in Kurram Agency.
According to sources, 6 security men sustained injuries when militants from Zangi area attacked a security check post in Taindo area of central Kurram.
The security forces repulsed and targeted suspected militants hideouts in Zangi area with the help of gunship helicopters, killing 11 militants.
A military operation has been underway in central Kurram against the militants for the past two months in which a number of militants training centres and camps have been destroyed.
