KARACHI: Five people have been killed as shooting resumed in Lyari on Friday.
According to reports, unknown gunmen opened fire in Mianwali Colony in Lyari killing four persons on the spot and injuring three others among which one was succumbed to injuries while on the way to hospital.
The bodies and wounded shifted to hospital. The situation is tense in the area and firing is continued. All shops and business have been closed. Heavy police contingents arrived in the area to bring the situation under control. At least 14 people have been killed so far in violent incidents in Lyari since yesterday.
