LAHORE: The police on Friday apprehended a suspected person and recovered two hand grenades and explosives from his possession.
According to sources, the police raided a house located in Margala Town of the federal capital on a tip off and arrested the suspect.
The suspect wanted to carry out terrorist activities during Muharram, the police claimed.
According to police, 16 suspected people have been arrested in different raids conducted in parts of Islamabad.
