SLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday called for easing of tension with India in the backdrop of the Mumbai attacks and stressed the need for resumption of the dialogue process to resolve all the outstanding issues between the two nuclear armed neighbours.

The civil and military leadership spoke with one voice in their meetings with the visiting Chinese Vice Foreign Minister, He Yafei, who separately called on them. They said there should be an end to provocative and belligerent posturing, as all issues could be resolved peacefully through discourse.
